Optionally top with crushed peanuts and a squeeze of lime juice
Mix the beef.
In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly the ground beef with the onions, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Heat the oil.
In a wok or large skillet, heat the oil on medium high heat. Once hot, add the red chili flakes to season the oil.
Cook the beef.
Add in the ground beef and keep it moving in the pan on high heat so that it nicely browns the beef. Drain any excess fat as needed. (Keeping a little fat is good for flavor). Now add the remaining ingredients and continue to cook on high heat and frequently mixing until the moisture/liquids evaporates and coats the beef.
Garnish and serve.
Garnish with crushed peanuts and fresh lime juice. Serve with cauliflower rice, salad green, make tacos - it's extremely versatile.
You can use any ground meat or seafood for this dish.
